This page contains obsolete versions of syntorxgen. Please don't use them unless you absolutely have to, as newer versions generally fix bugs.

The binary packages below include only the executable programs. You will want the source package as well, in order to have documentation, sample data and utilities.

Courtesy of KC8PUN, a Debian binary package (v1.0rel) is available. This was built under Debian Sid, but should work under 3.0/Woody.

A NetBSD binary package (v1.0rel) is available. This was built under NetBSD 1.6.

A Windows binary package (v1.0rel) is available. This was built using the Cygwin package.

An MS-DOS binary package (v1.0rel) is available. This was built using the DJGPP toolkit.

Changes: Version 1.10rel fixes the problem with Motorola S-record output from syntorxgen.

Changes: Version 1.20rel: The big change is that the software is now configured and built using GNU auto tools. It also fixes an issue with PL and DPL generation if you specify 0.0 Hz or code 0. While the manual says you should use "no", it makes sense to allow 0, and now it generates the correct thing for this input.

A VAX/VMS binary package (v1.20rel) is available. This was built by hand using VMS ports of Bison and Flex, and the Compaq C compiler. These are not well tested; it's been a long time since my VAX days.
